Basically all week I've been working on my code for tank and Its almost done
1 the Bullitt reload physics

basically I shoot once and there's a wait timer. Can't shoot for one second so the gunner reloads the shell inside then can again spawn Bullitt and makes the reload sound effect like a real tank so you know somewhat when you can shoot again as a little warning of how long you must play "cat and mouse" until the next shell is hot!
This is a reload for the Abrahams tank for reference!

2 The tank barriers

I had to change them from Killing your tank to adding one point to the enemy and making your tank flash so you know you damaged your tank when you land on it. and I had to change it because I didn't know it was a score based game I was supposed to make till the middle of making it! I thought it was a "elimination match" so I had to delete a {metric crap ton of code} and change It to giving score and using some new construct stuff I haven't used before so It was kind of tough towards the beginning but I pulled through!
This seemed to be a "trial by fire moment for me!" pretty much a either I deal with it and fix everything I messed up so bad or I just say screw it and use what I was originally was gonna do but I fixed it! IT TOOK 2 DAYS!!! the code was so messed up Gordon Ramsey would say the code is less finished and more broken than The salmon his chefs cook in hells kitchen! ughh!

Its called a "Hedge hog" in real life btw!
I may consider changing the color to make it more noticeable on the layout!
and more lethal like giving your enemy 2 or even 4 points to make things Interesting or maybe some sort of multiplier when you land on multiple of em!

In Nazi Occupied France during The "Operation Overlord" aka D-Day
they made it difficult for the allies to get tanks through the bloody Nazi infested Machine gun trenches!
Reference 2 what there sacrifices led too

after the Nazis retreated from the Normandy coastline they prepared for both an air and land based assault from the allies aka USA, Canadian sniper regiments and many British Tank air ground and specialty units to break through the Nazi infested France and eventually leading up to Freeing France from the Nazi over rule!
3 Event logic and The end timer

The event logic is basically when the Bullitt spawned from the Abrahams towards the T72 or vise versa basically scores 1 point to the tank that the Bullitt came from so basically Abrahams shoots t72, t72 flashes and Abrahams gets one point added to their score!
The end timer is 1 second subtracted from the match while its running
4 The time limit

Its a 90 second match because I thought 60 seconds was too little for the map and 120 seconds made the match drag on for too long! so 90 works fine for the map size ,speed of the tanks and, the barriers like the "obstacles family" that you are not able to pernitrate through and the "slowdownables" that make you go half your speed while you go over them as if your crushing the item your going over ,like a car!
Things I might change! and things that need to be fixed!
1 People are sayin the Abrahams tank looks too similar to the T72 Soviet model tank especially since there both green so I might rework the paint to something more desert storm camo like this! Instead of what it currently is.

2 I might change up the locations for some of the cars and buildings and some of the design and add some of the cars and the destroyed Big rig and its trailer along with a freeway on ramp that's partially destroyed! into it soon after all of the code is done!


3 the music has problems some times and is "ear bleeding" sometimes and I need to fix that, also when I do the reload sound effect It sometimes does it multiple times if you spam the shoot button! also ear bleeding!
4 the bullets give you points when you shoot at anything and when you hit the other tank which that's a problem! gonna try to fix that on Friday or Monday!
5 sometimes the map layout kind of glitches when I full screened it and this wasn't a problem a few days ago so I don't know how this started but its a Big problem I have to get fixed before I upload it to "Itch.Io"!

The grey is where the layout glitches out! and I don't know why? And I'm gonna need some help to find out what the problem is with this most likely Its a layout bug! >:[
5 Something I want to add at a later date!
I want to try to add some "voice lines" to the game to give it more I guess soul or something? I wanted to do this to add some more realism so your more invested in playing the game!
and If I knew how to Make some voices and record em I would make some voice lines for the gunners saying In a (slightly Bit voice), like Duke nukem! and with a (slightly static voice) like there all talking into there headset!
But I would of course need to know how to record my voice and distort it some how which I don't know how that would work or how I would find a app that could scuff the voice
But if I did these would be some of the voice lines I would try to create!
(Abrahams crew Voice lines)
on Abrahams Reload - "Weapons hot!" or
- "Weapons ready time to light those fuckers up HURRAH!!!" (or even)
-On game load up -"Lets show em what American steel is made of boys!!" "chhh"
Abrahams shooting the T72 - (A private saying this in a slightly cracked up voice) " Good work Sarge! we'll win this war in no time!"
Abrahams taking a hit - (same private) "Fuck!, "Sarge I think that was a 'High ordinance Armor piercing sabot' round!!!" (sounding like he pissed his pants)!
on Abrahams win -"Fuck yeah! America number one take that other guys!"
on Abrahams loose - (Same private) "were so screwed! ,and (yelling Tank commander!} fall back and regroup at the barracks for the next assault, That's an order!"
(T72 Soviet tank voice lines)
T72 Soviet would be -"on Weapon reload "(Tank commander) A older sounding soviet soldier
-"weapons loaded and ready!
and -"Weapons ready don't fail the motherland or else!" (voice sounds more sinister at the end)!
and also on reload (In soviet accent),( Russian Tank Commander) -"Lets show these fat doughboys what Stallinium tastes like!" (Soviet recruit) "blya da!" "Meaning in Russian"
"Fuck yeah!"
(T72 on Map load up) (Communications Commander) - "Do this for the glory of the motherland', And don't fail or else!" (sounding very aggressive again)
(T72 On Shot by Abrahams) -"yebat my byli khitom vashikh stantsiy" (basically meaning in Russian) "fuck we've been hit man your stations" and (hearing a not as loud) Blyad' in the background from the (Soviet recruit) it basically means "Fuck!" (also scared and probably pissing his pants!)
(T72 on win) - "We've won boys now we must find a way to keep this sector secured! Good work brat'ya glory to the motherland!" Brat'ya (means brothers) in Russian btw!
(T72 on loss) - (Pissed off Communications Commander) {Back At there secret base} -"Don't bother coming Home there's no place for failures like you in the motherland!" (spits on floor) (throws headset on ground) says before smashing headset "byli vse trakhnuty" meaning "Were all fucked!" (Smashes headset on floor making a crackle sound while crushing it!)
