1 The assets and how they work

I've been making more assets to make the track more alive and seem more like actual lemans track!

So Welcome to the world of 3D

I have made some of my barrier 3D tile sets to make the map pop out more and feel more alive hope you al like it

1# The tiled mat and the 3d mirrored asset of Haybales

These haybales are barriers to make the map look more alive and more like the actual track from the 1950s-60s

Which yes there was haybales and concrete barriers to stop the cars from crashing into people!

Its a little sloppy but I plan on changing it up a little and make it more narrow and less curved!

This is from the Lemans race The picture was probably from footage from Ford Vs Ferrari!!

also there are some concrete barriers

so I wanted to make those as well so there was a variety of assets!

The Hedges on the map

In the 1950s and 60s there was a section with hedges at the beginning of the first and mid corners on the track that made it look less like a race track and more like your driving through the European country side!

1 The Square Hedges reference

Jus a basic hedge I found online for reference!

Reference 2 a modern iteration of the lemans track

The hedges are still there but because there were fires on the track that hurt some cars on the track they put metal bars and a standard chain fence to prevent the car from crashing into the barrier and causing a fire on the track and destroying all of the shrubbery!!

Also this is the 2005 Ford GT btw

3 Concrete barriers I'm working on as well

on the track next to the haybales there were usually a few rows of concrete as a way marker for the haybales to be placed near or in front of!

2 More stuff and what's next to come!

I plan on making mud and water puddles on the track that will make your cars friction go haywire and loose control and also slow you down making it trick to get back onto the track and complete the lap
